A pass to a teammate who scores a basket immediately or after one dribble.

To make contact with an opposing player to establish rebounding position between the player and the ball. Also called “block out.”

Dunk

To score by putting the ball directly through the basket with one or both hands. (n) A shot made by dunking.

Rebound

To obtain the ball after a missed field goal attempt.

Turnover

A loss of possession.
