West Craven Turbines Summer Basketball Camp 2012 (Ages 4-11)
Posted on March 8th, 2012
An exciting opportunity for children aged 4 – 11. West Craven Turbines will be hosting a basketball summer camp at Gisburn Road Primary School, BARNOLDSWICK. The camp will teaching all the skills needed to play basketball, along with providing the opportunity to play real games.
Oliver Hylands, Division One Men’s player (England’s top league) and Camp Director is a Barnoldswick local. He currently plays for Leeds Carnegie and is looking to give back to the area where he started his basketball career with the West Craven Turbines.
“I attended a camp very early on in my playing career with minimal experience and in just four years I was playing for one of the top teams in the country, winning multiple championships along the way. Without a doubt basketball camps were a huge part in my development, both on and off the court, as a person as well as a player. I want to give children in the area, which gave me so much, even better opportunities than I had.” Oliver Hylands 2012
